Her hair is styled in an elaborate tall arrangement on the top of her head and possibly adorned with some form of headwear.
Signed D. Kast, and though skilfully painted, we unfortunately know no further details about the artist.
The painting and frame has wear. The board is warped so isn’t completely flat and there are also some scratches across the surface. The frame has some chips to the decorative rope detail.
