A matching pair of c1920s-1930s pillowcases in a blue satin type material with a soft sheen finish. They have never been used and were still tacked together in their shop display positions. We had to separate them to wash them as they were very dusty.
They’re in good condition with no holes or colour loss, but they do have some light marks from prolonged storage. There’s some faint brown lines from where the pillowcases have been folded for decades- not easily noticeable due to the deep colour and nature of the fabric.
The pillowcases are shown with standard sized feather pillows inside- they ideally need something a little larger, but there should still be some excess of material at the end so you can’t see the pillow inside.
Each pillowcase measures 89cm x 49cm.
