Dated 1975 and signed by the artist, this enchanting ink and watercolour features an owl and owlet, with a fairy bestowing a hat upon the head of the perplexed owlet.

Beautifully detailed and clearly by an accomplished illustrator, but unfortunately we can’t be sure of who ‘M.Shaw’ is at this time.

Mounted behind glass in a silver gilt frame.

Some light surface wear to frame but no significant damage.
