A highly decorative pot made by 20th century studio potter, Nicholas Hurle. The thickly applied glaze in a variety of colours is typical of Hurle’s work, as are the Buddha-like faces.
Two very small nibbles on the edge, not immediately noticeable. The edges have been pinched by hand and have an organic, raw texture, like the edge of a shell.
Height 11cm
Diameter 14cm/15cm
