A original art pottery bowl by highly regarded potter, Alan Ball. It has a contemporary design with a titan white exterior and a contrasting geometric design on the inside.

Born in 1935, Alan Ball began his pottery career in 1965 and went into teaching after finishing college. Based in the North East, he has exhibited extensively over the years and was a founder member of Northern Potters.

Interestingly, the signature and date is scribed in large letters on the side of the bowl, rather than concealed on the base, making it part of the design.
