This is a handmade authentic reproduction of an original 1940s era jumper. It has been entirely hand-knitted by a very experienced & skilled knitter, using an original 1940s era pattern. It has a close fitting shape with a deep rib welt and neat yoke.
It has been knitted in a none itchy, soft acrylic mix. It fastens on the shoulder with buttons. The colours are teal green, mustard, dusky beige/pink, brown and soft grey.
Scarlett Johansson wore a version of this pattern in the film Jojo Rabbit, set in the early 1940s.
The jumper stretches, so the sizing is somewhat flexible. It would work on a 32”-36” (max) bust.
Waist up to approx 30”
Length 20”
Shoulder to shoulder 14” laid flat un-stretched. As a guide, it’s suited for a UK 8-Small 12, but please compare the measurements with a similar garment of your own.
