These are very tactile late Victorian-early 20th century handmade deadstock tassel necks. They’re made from very finely woven twine wrapped over a wooden body with wool middle.

These were possibly intended as tassels but never had skirts added and were never used, hence they’ve stayed in very good condition. They make great light pulls or they could be fashioned into cupboard door pulls.
