c.1940s-1950s. This wonderful collection of original artwork is seemingly all by the same female artist. We believe her name is June Bone, from Huddersfield- there’s a sheet with her name and location beautifully hand-written in calligraphy. This portfolio is likely from her time as an art student and she was clearly a talented fledging artist with a skill for capturing portraits.

Some of the sheets have art on both sides, so we haven’t photographed absolutely every sketch or drawing. There are approx 27 sheets in total. Most sheets are A2 or A3 size, but the drawings themselves are obviously much smaller and therefore easier and more affordable to frame!
