This is one of three handmade mid 20th century dolls we have listed, all in the form of a pixie/fairy type character. With this example the doll is dressed a little like a fantastical Robin Hood character. They look to have all been made by the same person, unfortunately we don’t know who but it’s clearly someone with skill and expertise.
The body is firm, with some malleability. The clothing etc is made from soft suede and the face looks to be kidskin. The cape and boots are leather.
Height from the tip of the hat is 24cm.
Condition: generally good for age, there is some areas of faint colour fading to the suede and some light marks.
