An original vintage sampler completed by a child in 1936 to commemorate the short reign of Edward VIII before his abdication. The dates in the bottom corner mark his coronation on the 20th January 1936 and his abdication in December of the same year.
The sampler is back and framed but not behind glass. The linen has some marks and tanning.
