A traditional Kurdish runner made from sheep’s wool. It’s robust and heavy weave make it ideal for an area with a lot of foot traffic.

It has handmade characteristics and is not a perfect rectangle, the width varies from 115cm at one end to 107cm at the other end. Length 272cm.

There is a little bit of colour loss in areas, it’s in faint stripes so possibly from when it was originally made.
