Pair of Mid-Century Opaline Glass Spiral Lamps

£65.00
sold out

A stylish matching pair of original 1970s lamps made simplistically from an opaline glass globe sat on top of a metal spring. They were undoubtedly inspired by Ingo Maurer’s iconic spring lamp but with somewhat of an Art Deco revival style.

The opaline glass globes are subtly decorated with thin gold bands. The paint has worn a little in areas but it’s still a nice detail. The spirals are metal springs with a gold-tone plating, these also have a little surface wear as you’d except from age and use. The lamps are both in good working order and have been PAT tested.

Height approx 19cm.

Diameter of base 14cm.
