An original Soviet propaganda poster, printed in 1975. The artwork is by Vladislav Kyunnap, a member of the ‘Fighting Pencil’, a creative association of Leningrad artists, responsible for producing many propaganda posters in the USSR during the Cold War.
This poster was part of a large portfolio of propaganda posters designed by a variety of Fighting Pencil artists and poets/writers. We have the original portfolio cover but there isn’t a complete collection of posters, so we’re selling them individually.
Some wear to the edges and a small tear. There is also a number penned in the bottom corner.
Measures 56cm x 42cm.
