Mid-Century Original Artist’s Proof Drypoint Surrealist Abstract Heads

£10.00
sold out

Taken directly from a large collection of original artwork from an artist called Trevor Barchi (1936-) who was most active during the 1960s-1970s. This mixed media drypoint is one of a number produced by Barchi whilst experimenting with different techniques and methods of hand-printing. It appears to be drypoint based, though he did tend to add further detail and shadowing.

Though clearly talented, there’s unfortunately little information about Barchi beyond that he studied art in London before moving up North.

The mount measures 43.5cm x 26cm. Aperture measures 28.5cm x 16cm.
