Mid-Century 1960s-1970s Original Artist’s Proof Drypoint Surrealist Abstract [02]

£8.00

Taken directly from a large collection of original artwork from an artist called Trevor Barchi (1936-) who was most active during the 1960s-1970s. This mixed media drypoint is one of a number produced by Barchi whilst experimenting with different techniques and methods of hand-printing. It appears to be drypoint based with some textile impressions.

We have a number of variations of this drypoint available, in different colours, tones and depths.

Though clearly talented, there’s unfortunately little information about Barchi beyond that he studied art in London before moving up North where he had a studio.

The paper measures 60cm x 45cm. Aperture measures 28.5cm x 28cm.
