A handmade and hand-painted “shelf sitter” in the form of a cat. Made from pine with painted detail in orange and yellow tones- very much in the style of eastern European folk art pieces from the mid 20th century.
Signed on the back. One of the flowers on the tail has been smudged before the paint has dried.
Measures 18cm from where the paw sits on the shelf, up to the cat’s ear.
