Late 19th Century Victorian Pop-Up Book ‘Days of Delight’
A delightful original Victorian children’s book with detailed pop-up pages. It’s a rare surviving example of its kind.
It was printed in 1896 at the Fine Art Works in Saxony by Raphael Tuck & Sons Ltd.
There is wear and small areas of damage as can be expected with a children’s book of this age. There is a stabilised repair to the title page, and a couple of other small repairs to the backs of some of the characters. The “pop up” pages are otherwise generally fine with only a small number of torn pieces, a couple of missing heads, noses and ears etc- it’s not particularly noticeable.
Measures 24.5cm x 19.5cm
