These vintage shades have been made by hand using very good quality cotton linen in a cherry print pattern and finished with a frill trim in red waxed cotton. They’re likely c.1980s but they have a very current “country cottage” look!

The bulb holder is adjustable so they can used as a pendant ceiling light shade, on a standard lamp or a large table lamp.

They’re in good condition with very little sign of wear, it’s likely they weren’t ever used. The shades simply sit over the frame so they can easily be removed and washed when required.

The copper frame was coated in a white paint which had browned with age and become flakey. We’ve removed it but there might be the odd stubborn spot remaining.
