Original oil on canvas by contemporary Italian artist, Luciana Manelli. Born in May of 1946 in a small town called Pinarolo Po. Manelli later moved to Milan to study fine art and from 1971, she taught at the Brera Academy.
Manelli is well known for her angelic faced female portraits. The subjects are often Italian women from traditional rural communities and are typically depicted working on the land and/or caring for their young children.
This painting was originally released as part of a triptych. However, other than a couple of similarities in the background, they don’t seem to be directly connected and due to their large size we have listed them separately. The other two paintings are also listed and we can combine delivery.
The painting has been professionally mounted and framed.
