A very substantial and high quality French mirror from the mid to late 19th century. It had a heavy wood base with ebonised moulding and fine gilt detailing.
It has some damage to the moulding (see photos) and some treated old woodworm holes to the back of the frame. Some small spots and foxing to the original mirror plate.
