Though a fictional tale, there was a real bear named Wahb who frequented the remote Wyoming ranch of Seton’s friend Abraham Archibald “A.A.” Anderson. Seton was inspired by Anderson’s tales of Wahb and their creative collaboration is considered a “wondrous and little-known aspect of Greater Yellowstone heritage”.
The cloth cover is a striking olive green with an embossed pictorial front board.
Only light wear to the outer cover and spine and some foxing to the pages.
