This is a handmade reproduction of an original late 1930s era jumper. It has been hand-knitted by a very experienced & skilled knitter, using an original knitting pattern published in 1937 for the coronation- hence the red, white and blue colour-way. In the original publication the finished jumper was shown with white as the base colour.
It has been knitted in a none itchy, soft acrylic mix.
The jumper has a lot of stretch with the deep box pleats so it looks very small on the hanger but stretches significantly. It’s best suited for someone within the measurements below.
Bust 32”-36”
Waist up to around 30”
Length 21”
Shoulder to shoulder 14” laid flat
