c.1930s. This very fun novelty folder has been lovingly handmade from waxed linen backed with card. On the cover features a hand/painted illustration of a dog in a mailing/shipping basket with labels attached and the line below ‘HI Porter!’. The words ‘Luggage Labels’ have been hand stencilled and painted.
Inside are some of the original contents, including card labels, gummed tickets and gummed labels, only one example remains of the latter.
Some general age related surface wear but otherwise very good condition for its age.
