Antique Baluch Rug c1880-1900. A great survivor and a testament to the quality of rugs made during this era. The central background is a lovely peach tone, which was likely originally more of a pink or orange. The border is shades of red and dark blue.
Very worn but still very useable, as long as it’s an area without heavy (shoed) footfall. Some small holes, no bigger than a 5p. Thinned areas and wear to the edges.
