A very stylish jardiniere stand with a large octagonal top. The design would have been considered very modernist for its time, following the ornate and elegant plant stands of the Victorian and Edwardian period. It would work well for both displaying a large house plant or as a tall lamp table.
It’s hand-made from solid oak pieces of wood skilfully joined together to give it a fluid sculptural form.
Very light surface wear but no significant damage.
