Art Deco 1940s-1950s White Gold Diamond Bow Ring

£220.00
sold out

A beautiful 1940s-1950s era ring made from white gold in the shape of a bow with a single bezel set diamond. The design is typical to the late Art Deco period with dramatic square shoulders and fluted lines shaping the form of a bow. The diamond and the two small yellow gold plated collars either side, form the knot of the bow.
On the inside of the band is stamped 585 and a maker’s mark- the first letter is S and the second letter looks to be R, though it’s not as clear.
Size M (UK) . Inside diameter 16.9mm.
Weighs just a little over 5g.
It has some very light surface wear typical of age. There is also what looks to be a line on the inside of the band where it was once resized. No significant damage.
