This original 1930s era armchair has a great curved shape and bottle green velvet upholstery.
It’s got some wear and minor issues but could be used as-is perfectly well. It’s comfortable, the springs in the seat are still firm but there is minimal padding so it would benefit from a seat cushion, this would also prevent unnecessary wear of the fabric. There’s a lump on the back of the chair but no issues with the padding on the front of the seat back.
There’s some small areas of wear to the fabric, but in all honesty, the photographs make the fabric look significantly more worn than in reality- a common problem when it comes to photographing velvet!
Height of back 84cm
Width across front 95cm
Depth of chair 80cm
Depth of seat 55cm
Width of seat 53cm Height
Height of seat 37cm
