A good quality 19th century sofa with an incredibly heavy solid frame. One arm adjusts to transform it into a chaise longue/daybed.
The sofa has been upholstered in the late 20th century using a plum coloured linen from Laura Ashley. The design is called “Blueberry”.
The sofa has been used in a spare bedroom, so it has not been regularly used. The upholstery has no holes and little sign of wear. It does however, have some significant fading on the back where it’s been sat in front of a window. The sprung base is still firm and comfortable with only minimal migration of padding.

Depth of seat 54cm
Height of seat 36cm
Height of back 72cm
Full depth 79cm
