Antique Long-Spouted Copper Kettle/Watering Can
Late 19th century. The long spout and small lid suggest it was likely originally used as a coffee pot when coffee was made by boiling coffee grounds in water. The coffee grounds would be boiled multiple times before being discarded.
If not used for decorative purposes, it would also make a great watering can for houseplants.
In good condition with only light signs of wear. Has not been recently polished.
Height including handle 28cm
Diameter of base 17cm
