A late 19th century handmade copper pot in a shape very much like an upside down “Capotain” hat.
There are three different engraved designs around the base- a horse, a fleur de lis and a flowering plant.
The skirted neck of the pot has been left with a naturalistic shape, like wrinkled paper or trodden wet leaves.
The pot has overall signs of wear, minor dints and marks etc, but no detrimental damage like holes or splits.
Height 20cm, width 32cm, inner diameter 21cm (narrows down towards bottom).
