




Antique 19th Century Claw & Ball Armchair
A solid and well made mahogany armchair from the 19th century. It’s got an elegant shape with a rounded rectangular back and dipped arms. The striking front feet are in the form of gripped claws from a bird of prey.
The upholstery is much later, it’s a plush pile velvet in an olive green tone. There is wear to the ends of the arms and a shadow in the middle of the set back. Otherwise, the chair is useable as is, the springs and base are in fair working order.
