A pair of extra long vintage curtains made from good quality Francis Price linen. The design is titled ‘Sherwood’ and is evidently inspired by medieval tapestries with the leaping fawn and spread-winged bird on a dark navy blue and red background.
Francis Price designs were most prolific in the 1960s, however, this design feels a little later than that.
The lining have a couple of very faint water marks but otherwise fine, not yellowed. The printed linen is in good condition with little sign of wear.
Length 250cm
Width of each curtain across the top measures 85cm, meaning they’re suitable for a window around 160cm wide or less. You could adjust the pencil pleats across the top to gain a little extra width.
There is 114cm of width in the “skirt” or bottom hem of each curtain.
